Dr. Andrew Trobridge is Board Certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Management and specializes in Pain Management across east central Indiana with practices in Muncie, Indianapolis, Shelbyville, and Avon.
Following his 2001 graduation from the Indiana University (IU) School of Medicine, he completed his internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, and his residency in Anesthesiology at the IU School of Medicine. Additionally, he completed a fellowship in Pain Management at the IU School of Medicine. He is now the directing partner of Comprehensive Pain and Spine Specialists, established in 2022.
Dr. Trobridge has been involved with developing and advancing minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of spinal fractures and pain, and is a leader in spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of complex pain pathology. He also has a special interest in the treatment of cancer pain including the use of intraspinal infusion pumps.
A co-author of numerous publications, abstracts and papers, Dr. Trobridge has presented on responsible pain management and opioid prescribing, among other topics, at association, hospital and scientific conferences since 1995.
In addition to his clinical pursuits, he is a leader in organized medicine. Dr. Trobridge serves as Speaker of the Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA), and is past president of the ISMA Young Physician Society. He serves on the ISMA Pain Management and Prescribing Ad Hoc Legislative Committee as well as the ISMA Executive Committee. Dr. Trobridge previously served as a member of the board of the Indiana Society of Anesthesiologists and as a trustee on the ISMA Board.
Serving the community, Dr. Trobridge has been a volunteer with the Shelby County Community Health Clinic, the Shelby County Drug Free Coalition, and the ISMA Domestic Violence Committee.
